Dear Friends,
The sending of medical and educational equipment into the three nations we targeted this year has been very successful, those being Zambia, Liberia and the central eastern part of Nigeria. Together, with all our partners and supporters it has had an amazing impact, changing lives and giving hope to so many.
On their behalf, I thank and commend you; so many are grateful for all your help, support and prayers. God’s LOVE is certainly UNCONTAINED.
I see the goods arrive, unpacked and then delivered. It is wonderful being hands on delivering them where they are supposed to go but it’s in being hands you see the other needs.
My heart is stirred as I make room for God to move me to do more.
One area I have been challenged to do is to travel to West Africa soon, to spend time some with the refugees and displaced people in the area where there is an ongoing terror campaign by the Boko Haram and the Fulani raiders.
As well as Travel to Liberia and be there to meet with the survivors of the Ebola outbreak.
Whilst there it is my desire to go back to an area where we helped a lady with a wheel chair who prior to that had spent her whole life dragging here self along the ground.
It was In that area deep in the jungles, I found a what they called a school.
Well I know we can do better than that, so my heart is to begin by building a simple class room and Stock it with equipment and supplies we shipped in the container. Buy building a school it gives the community hope, hope never fails and In a small way begin to transform the future of hundreds of children, for the girl child by giving an education we see hope for something other than just being married off at 16 or sometimes even younger.
My second project is to renovate a local children’s home, (Children of Promise Orphanage) here in Kabwe. So often, we get busy and bypass the things we are so used to and sadly the basic repairs and maintenance has slipped beyond just a few things and now needs some serious upgrades.
Finally, in the village of Chankosa, where we have been actively involved for 5 years, the impact and results so far are inspiring with education and health improving. The shop we built to help fund project is working well, we see it meeting so many of the on going financial challenges. But we see the finances drain from the village into town. Because the maize they trade in ( that’s what they farm) is sent to town to be either ground or sold only to by milled maize. But if bought bicycle powered hammer mill, we can generate funds and mill the maize in the village and keep the finances in the village.
With extra finances the school and clinic can go from just managing, to improving, then they can start getting into other projects; like skills training for the youth, teacher training, empowering women.
So often the lot in life would be get married and brew beer. But imagine what future could hold if the community could afford to send the young women to university, imagine if the women where farming chickens instead of brewing beer.
So friends that’s what’s on my heart.
- $3000 could and would go a real, real, real, long way.
- But $4000 would really do a a great job.
Whether, it’s $10 to buy a Mozzie net that will help keep a child malaria free at the children of promise.
Or
$500 and that buys a hammer mill that creates the resources to send a girl to teachers training college.
Or
$1000 that would put the roof for the school in the jungle – where there is no school. In the coming generations a girl had an hope of something other than being married of from 16.
That’s what money can do, that’s what I want your help to do!!!!

The impact of these projects is simply this:
- The education of 400 children for many years years to come,
- Breaking the poverty cycle in at least two communities,
- Changing the future for so many girls will be so much more than just being married off.
- Repairing a Children’s Orphanage to feel like a home – these children are placed here because they have no family, have experienced or are in danger of abuse or vulnerable in many other ways.
God bless you abundantly.
