Greetings in the powerful and wonderful Name of Jesus,
Sorry for the delay in getting this newsletter to you. It has been a year!
Finally, in June, after months of daily combing for flight options back to Zambia and my family, I found a risky but doable option present itself. I managed to get on one of the first flights out of Sydney to Dubai that connected to Zambia via Ethiopia. Not sure how, but it seemed I found myself on a flight that happened to be a part of a repatriation flight for people in Botswana. God was the Way Maker. It has been a huge blessing to be back here.
Since June it has been a mixed bag of waiting for Covid-19 restrictions to lift (to complete our normal ministry) and flat-out work. So, I will try not to waffle on but take you on a photographic safari of the past few months.
Well the biggest news, the container packed for Zambia, not only shipped, but arrived!
We struck water at Ngwena village (Lukunga swamps west of Kabwe 60Km) this has been an ongoing project as part of our Village development:  – church; school; clean drinking water; farming; business.  We have seen the transforming of lives of the entire village through God’s Word, God’s Love, God’s Wisdom and God’s Plan.
Ongoing Covid-19 Mask project. This ministry has been providing for those without by making these masks and assisting with protection for front line workers, prisoners, and those in the village.
Empowering women through sewing, hope, encouragement, self-worth, training, and relationship. 2020 sure has been a year where the humble sewing machine has become an essential and integral part of the initial stages of the Covid-19 protection plan. The upside of this has meant that we have had open doors into the lives of women. Â These women have grown personally and spiritually, developed skills, and started businesses. Angela has been so inspirational to me. I am so proud of her. Through her guidance she has impacted, in only a very few months, the teams of women she mentors.
Donations of medical equipment to Hospitals with chaplains – Opening the doors for the Gospel, Favor for Chaplains to preach the Gospel, see the sick healed, and the possessed set free. Medicine treats, Jesus heals.
Changing lives for those in need of wheelchairs and crutches
Caleb Centre, like so many affected, was shut down due to Covid-19. During this time, we ran home visits and in-home training.  Sadly, when restrictions lifted, we had to find new location to rent. But by God’s Grace we are up and running, with Big plans to match the big need but carried out by an even bigger God.
We have secured a 4-ha plot of land outside town for long term developments.
But for now, we are renting a house in town.
We are seeing some major development in the children; this week we witnessed an answer to prayer. Â A local child went from being full nonverbal to speaking for the first time in his life. God, Love, Dedication, Hard Work and Never Giving UP. Imagine the praises in that House!
Shoes for the shoeless
Supporting Children of Promise Children’s Home. Meeting their physical needs as well as financial support where and when we can.
A Huge Shout to Jude Kalman of Fish Film fame. She was at YoFiFest 2020, an international film festival, with UNCONTAINED LOVE > fear. To think, a film a about the power of God’s love being a part of a secular film festival! What an awesome way of sharing the Gospel to a crowd that you would not normally find in church. One sows, One waters, One Harvests.
I look forward to the testimony of that film challenging, questioning, confronting, and transforming someone’s life.
So, I encourage you in a year where we have all been restricted so much, to remember God’s love is UNCONTAINED. We must remember God is on the throne.
Through your support, we have managed to get what has been necessary into the hands of those who require it, when they needed it.
So many more testimonies to come.
Thank You
All the Glory to God.
