The power of discipleship.
We read in Isaiah as God’s word is alikened to rain fall and snow as we see in the natura circle of life that when rain falls in one place it sets a chain reaction causing an effect sometimes 1000’s of km away. It is the same with Gods word, as it reads in the book of Isaiah it accomplishes all for which it is sent.
I am writing this to you with report in my hand but not from a ttn staff member but one of his disciples, let me begin the story in august we meet a pastor from a rural area about 70 km away in October we visited his church and completed some training, one of those attending was a visitor who lived in a military barracks in Lusaka. This lady was touched with what she learnt and hungered for God to do something in her family so she invited a team for ministry. So Godson and Benard were sent and they travelled. Initially the situation looked bleak as entry into the army barracks was denied and secondly the women failed to inform her husband about the coming guests. The gates were shut, but the gates of haydes will not prevail and God moved. See this women knew there was God but He was not a reality in her life but God sees each and every one of our prayers and when we cry out to him he moves mountains and no military protocol will stop his word, the husband was furious and his wife was taken with fear, but God has a peace that surpasses all understanding and be became calm and receptive (all of which was after much prayer).
Then the miracles began, the family sat and herd the Gospel and responded and received Jesus. The family was under attack they were constantly ill no one could sleep and the new baby would cry the whole night. They were prayed for and at that time sickness left and peace came that night sleep for the first time. The Husband and wife begun putting there marriage and life together. God herd the pray’s of that lady though she would not have been described as Christian she knew there was a God and she cried out to God “be real in my life heal me heal my family if you real God show yourself to me I Need you”. God herd, and by what seem the strangest way he turned up into her life and showed himself real. From hearing of Gods greatness while visiting family in the village 250km away now a disciple is in here home, got through the closed gates and her husband a commander has for the first time become peaceful and allowed some who he doesn’t know preach the word of God to him something he has not allowed before. God hear you prayers and In His way and in His time.
As it goes when God shows up the word gets out and families appeared, we have herd of the healing can God heal us. Several other families were set free that weekend and came to know Jesus. One man was gripped with hatred and bitterness and he was set free. Another man was drunkard and he was instantly set free form alcohol. In another family the wife was bound with rejection driven to appoint that she feared her husband would stop loving her, and she wanted to divorce him before he could have chance to reject her, a totally unfounded fear. But God makes away and sees the heart and Jesus said I have come to heal the broken hearted and set the captive free. We praise God for the victory, we have since herd that this military base has been totally closed to the Gospel many pastors have tried to come and pray for that same family and always rejected never getting past the front gate never getting time to sit with commander. In His Time and His way he makes away.
