Hello, greetings from the Chama’s family, we are fine thanks.
On 21/03/2011 we left kabwe to lukanga swamps/Islands. At 16hrs we picked four brethren’s from Lukunga swamps church a church we planted two years ago.
On the same day we got late to the place called KAPOKA island 25km and 8 hours of motoring and paddling we arrived around midnight,  the population of this island is about 800 and their source of income is fishing. On this island, people’s huts are built on ant hills surrounded with water, for them to see each other they use canoes.
MINISTRY:
On the second day the ministry began, we preached to the families during day time and in the evening we showed the film/preaching using mini DVD player. After two days we went to the next Island called CHILWA Island. This Island has three big villages but we only ministered to the families we could. On the last day of our outreach we divided into two groups, one group went to the village called MALIPILO 20kilometers away from were we camped. This invitation came because of people’s testimony of how God had changed their life so a word was sent via canoe for us to come.  In that church we ministered to about 57 members who were troubled with evil spirits including elders.
TESTIMONIES:
Across the outreach well over 130 people gave their life to Jesus we saw 60 plus healed and 75 were delivered. This is just the beginning but what a great start. The swamps have been so heavily reliant on witch craft after ministering there are many people with powerful testimonies of how God has touched them.
THREE PEOPLE TESTIFIED:
One Elders of a church testified that he used to dream people putting on white clothes (demons) and instructing him how he should be running the church praise God salvation and deliverance has come to this church and this leader. The wife of the elder confessed to say she was practicing witch craft and has been saved and set free. We prayed for another young man who when he would get angry would manifest into a crocodile he too was set free. Sadly we prayed for man children who even from young age have put there hope into witch craft and use charms for protecting we prayed for their deliverance saw the bondage on their life lift off.
CONCLUSION:
The days were not enough for us to cover both Islands with the ministry which we conducted. But the brethrens have invited us to go back and disciple them on evangelism. Yes, we need to disciple the local people who should carry on with the same work on both Islands. The invitation is as a result of what God performed in their lives and other peoples.
The next ministry will be on 22-25/04/2011 the place is NGWENA harbor, we prayed for lady here who suffered demonically during pregnancy unable to bring forth a baby, we prayed for her last year and she has since delivered an normal child, this testimony has caused a stir amongst the people that a curse and witch craft has truly been broken and that the power of God is real and people have asked us to come.
